MOPCO supports the Sustainability Week events in Damietta as part of Egypt’s Vision 2030

Building on the commitment of Misr Fertilizers Production Company (MOPCO) and in support of its efforts to enhance environmental practices and promote a more sustainable environment in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development and environmental protection, the company participated in the Sustainability Week events held in Damietta Governorate. The events were organized under the patronage of the Governorate, led by Dr. Ayman El-Shihaby, Governor of Damietta, with broad participation from executive authorities and civil society organizations.

Sustainability Week witnessed a series of integrated environmental and community activities, most notably the initiative “A Tree in Every Street,” which aimed to increase green spaces in schools, healthcare centers, government facilities, and public areas across the governorate. The events also included recreational awareness programs to promote a culture of resource conservation and green transformation, in addition to educational and sports activities and an environmental exhibition supporting the green transition.

MOPCO affirms that its participation in Sustainability Week comes in support of environmental efforts in Damietta Governorate and in strengthening the transition toward more sustainable green cities, reflecting the company’s commitment to social responsibility and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
