Community And Charitable Contributions

·       Egypt has recognized voluntary work since a long history which resulted from accumulated heritage depending on “Good Deeds” concept. The network of private associations in Egypt includes more than 16,800 associations which conduct disparate activities including education, culture, charity and service works and other aspects of life. With the belief of the company that private associations are an important and non- negligible partner for development and progress, the company assists a number of official private associations in Al-Sananeya and areas surrounding the factory on a periodic basis. Such associations conduct various charity activities for helping the most needy groups such as orphans, widows, people with special needs and the poor.

 ·       The company has rehabilitated and enhanced the efficiency of (Al-Sananeya Great Mosque – Al-Rahma Mosque – Ezbet El-Eslah Mosque) and participated in constructing (4) mosques in Kafr El Battikh and certain areas surrounding the factory including Kafr El Battikh Great Mosque, Abo Aseya Mosque in Damietta, Al-Naggareen Mosque and Al-Khayata Village Mosque in conformity with the policy of the State.

·       In view of the State and President directions for enhancing the innovative abilities for all and paying attention to the people with special needs, the company has supported the Deaf and Hearing-impaired Association in Damietta.

·       As part of the company plan for supporting all components of society in particular the orphans, the company has participated in the marriage of certain unable orphan girls of the neighboring villages in order to provide a decent life for them.

·       In the light of the State plan for supporting the farmers and expanding the agricultural land, the company provides the Ministry of Agriculture with a share of urea to be distributed into the local market through agricultural associations including the agricultural associations inside the governorate.  

·       With the belief of the company in its service role by providing convenience to citizens, the company has provided the citizens reception hall at Damietta traffic with (5) air-conditioners as part of the interest in the waiting areas inside governmental bodies.

·       For eradication of hunger and poverty and subsidy the food and in view of the initiatives launched by the State, the company participates in conducting various activities on annual basis for eradication of hunger and poverty and improvement of the quality of life of the poor and needy of Al-Sananeya Village as well as the villages surrounding the factory within the framework of social communication and good neighborliness including the following:

-                Provision of food items and commodities at the beginning of the month of Ramadan each year.

-                Provision of quilts and blankets to unable families and components of society at the beginning of winter each year.

-                Slaughter and distribution of meat into unable families and components of society on the occasion of Eid al-Adha each year.
