Mopco Fertilizer Company is working to enhance the healthcare sector in line with sustainable development goals and to improve the quality of life in surrounding communities, especially in Damietta. The company has contributed to the development of the Emergency and Critical Care Department at Al-Azhar University Hospital in Damietta Governorate by equipping the department with the latest advanced medical devices, which bring a qualitative shift in providing emergency healthcare. The department was supplied with a modern portable ultrasound device equipped with echo technology, enabling rapid and accurate emergency examinations. This allows doctors to diagnose conditions such as abdominal bleeding, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism, as well as perform chest scans and insert intravenous catheters with high efficiency. Additionally, a flexible video laryngoscope was provided, which is used for intubating patients in critical conditions, especially those related to respiratory tract tumors, allowing doctors to intervene quickly and effectively. This contributes to saving patients' lives during critical moments, especially given the continuous increase in the number of patients receiving treatment at Al-Azhar University Hospital.
