In the context of the fruitful cooperation between the Misr Fertilizer Production Company "Mopco" and the Damietta Governorate to support the community and enhance culture—an integral part of the sustainable development strategy and the vision for Egypt 2030—the Damietta Festival has been launched under the motto "دمياط حاجة تانية" The festival will run from November 1 to 9, with Mobaco serving as the strategic sponsor of this prominent event in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Development, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Among the festival's activities is a major sports marathon that began in front of the historic Damietta Bridge, which serves as a pivotal event aimed at encouraging physical activity and promoting public health. This reflects the importance of the cultural heritage that intertwines sports and history. The marathon has garnered significant public participation among the local community. The festival also aims to highlight the historical, industrial, and cultural landmarks that Damietta is known for, representing a great opportunity to promote the governorate as a promising investment destination.
