Eng. Ahmed Mahmoud El-Sayed, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director for Misr Fertilizer Production Company “MOPCO”, visited Dr. Ayman EL-Shahbani, Governor of Damietta, extending his congratulations to him for gaining the confidence of the political leadership to by taking over the duties of the Governor. The fruitful meeting discussed enhancing ways for continuing cooperation plans between both sides to launch new partnerships. The meeting was attended by Engineer Shaimaa El-Sadek, Deputy Governor.

The Governor expressed his welcome for this visit, commending Mopco's continuous efforts in serving the local community, supporting the governorate, and achieving a breakthrough in social development over the past years. He praised the efforts made to rehabilitate and develop the historic Damietta Bridge, emphasizing the importance of continuing close cooperation between the company and the governorate to achieve common goals.

Both parties reviewed several proposals for launching new specialized partnerships in skills development and enhancement, aiming to support the local industries development plan for which Damietta is renowned. They underscored the need to intensify joint efforts to address challenges, enhance youth capabilities, and achieve sustainable development to strengthen the local job market for the benefit of the surrounding community.
