MOPCO organizes awareness workshops at universities and schools in Damietta under the slogan ‘Duty of Care.’

As part of its commitment to implementing the highest standards of occupational health and safety, and in line with the recommendations of Safety Day issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Misr Fertilizers Production Company (MOPCO) organized a series of awareness workshops at universities and schools in Damietta under the slogan “Duty of Care.” The workshops were held throughout December 2025 at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and the Faculty of Education at Damietta University, as well as at Abbas Helmy Zaher School in Damietta city. The initiative aimed to raise students’ awareness of general safety concepts, the importance of safe behaviors in educational and work environments, and the role of every individual in protecting themselves, others, the environment, and property.

The events featured interactive presentations and open discussion sessions covering topics such as risk management, accident prevention, and the importance of personal and collective responsibility.

MOPCO emphasizes its ongoing dedication to supporting the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ efforts in promoting a safety culture and contributing to the creation of a safer and more sustainable society, reflecting the company’s commitment to social responsibility and raising awareness among future generations.
